WMA's Interior at Pisces Restaurant

Project Details

Just the other day, we overheard people talking about the unique and eccentric interior of one of Charlotte's youngest and hippest restaurants, Pisces Sushi Bar & Lounge. Not many know Wagner Murray were the architects behind the concept. Opened only two years ago in The Metropolitan, it is "the spot" in the new mixed use development near downtown.

Pisces was also voted Charlotte's best Sushi restaurant in 2010. The 2,900 SF design consists of a number of visually derived elements. Sourced from the symbols and images of Eastern calligraphy and the colorful palette of food, the space provides a visually exciting template for this dynamic new restaurant. The washed rock wall and bar tops resemble the natural and created forms of inspired design.
